SUMMARY OF JOB:
As a member of the OTM Team, the Business Systems Analyst will participate in the setup, Fresh Implementations, maintenance and enhancement of APC-MGE’s OTM ERP system across all DC’s world wide. Under the leadership of Applications IT Managers, analysts collaborate with company customers, vendors, staff, IT colleagues, and process teams to identify user requirements, assess available scenarios, and recommend solutions. They will share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time application delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities and the ability to act effectively as a team member, as well as other duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Setup, maintenance and enhancement of APC-MGE’s OTM ERP system.
* Requirement gathering & successful execution of OTM fresh implementations for New APC-MGE DC’s.
* Work with company customers, vendors, staff, IT colleagues, and process teams to give satisfactory deliverables on time.
* Ensure on-time application delivery.
* Support end user application queries.
SCOPE & SIZE:
* OTM Application Implementation & Support Experience of Minimum 3 Years.
* Satisfactory SQL skills related to OTM- Understanding of various OTM Tables.
* Very good verbal and written communication skills
* Work well with business users & sub-process owners
* Perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as the business demands change; manage transition effectively from task to task
* Excellent understanding of Oracle Transportation Management functionalities- OTM Planning, Rates & Routes, Corporate Routing, Transmission Management, Trouble shooting & debugging skills using Log files, Excellent OTM Agent Configuration skills.
Main categaries of responsibilities:
* OTM Application Implementation & Support Experience.
* Configuration of the following Oracle Transportation Management functionalities- OTM Planning, Rates & Routes, Corporate Routing, Transmission Management, Trouble shooting & debugging skills using Log files, Excellent OTM Agent Configuration skills.
* Work with DC Planners, Super Users, vendors, staff, IT colleagues, and process teams to identify user requirements.
* Assess new DC requirements and map it to OTM Functionalities.
* Ensure on-time application delivery.
* Support end user application queries.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
There is the expectation that this individual would build a close working relationship with his/her peers on the Oracle Warehouse Management, Bpel, Trax teams. Another Key relationship would include his/her peers in the other groups within the Business Analysis Services group.
EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:
Should have an experience of minimum 3 years in oracle Transportation management. Experience/Understanding of Logistics processes will be an added advantage.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1 – REQUIRED:
This position requires the person to have experience in the Oracle Transportation management & be able to work on projects/tasks that involve this process area. Knowledge of WMS will be an added advantage.
