Job Profile as follows:
Currently we have suitable senior vacancy as Head- Operations with our clients who are a very large, leading,
rapidly growing, multi-locational packaging organisation with a young workforce of over 3000 and having a very wide product range - market leaders in a number of product categories including films, laminates, bags, industrial etc. The organisation has worked out extremely ambitious growth plans and also is in transition from owner/family managed to professionally managed. The position is based in Mumbai and reports to the M.D.
KRAs:
Heading the entire global manufacturing operations (over 12 locations). Will lead a large team of senior manufacturing professionals including General Managers- Manufacturing, Maintenance; Environment & Quality. Will be expected to benchmark plants with the best in class, internationally and achieve global standards in manufacturing and operations. Build the operations to gear up for the significant growth anticipated in the next 2-5 years.
Candidate profile: Engineers (BE/B Tech Plastics Engg. / Technology, Chemical Technology) preferably PG Degree in Packaging from IIP or an institute of repute from abroad. Experience of 15 to 25 years having worked in a quality continuous process plant. Experience in Packaging Industry will be an advantage. Should have independently managed large, technologically superior Process plants, with appropriate best practices. Track record of having successfully led an energetic team of engineers & professionals.Experience as a head of Company having multi locale manufacturing units. Must be an Outstanding leader; Very good communication,Coaching and mentoring skills; professional with vision; Hands off but must “roll up his sleeves” whenever required; have passion for his work and be highly energetic.
