Purpose
Lead implementation of processes relating to Customer Service ( On time delivery , CSS Service ) , Warehousing & Transportation to deliver enhanced customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost & agreed SSHE standards.
Principal Accountabilities
1.Lead implementation of demand planning processes at the regional level by actively engaging in collation, analysis and rationalization of forecast proposed by the regional sales team. Engage in interactions with RM for final release of sales forecast from the region to CPHO.
2.Standardize depot-operating procedures in line with the service norms agreed with the sales team & deliver agreed service level to customers (internal / external). Ensure adherence to inviolable controls at the depots.
3.Drive efficiency improvements in distribution operations to ensure minimum freight cost at agreed HSE&S standards & service levels.
4.Lead HSE&S improvement programmes in depots & transportation across the country and ensure best in industry standards.
5.Developing capability of depot staff in delivering business requirements through a structured capability up-gradation plan at the depot level.
6.Responsible for commissioning and service of all the CSS machines installed in the region through an effective co-ordination between service providers and dealers

The Job requires dynamic adaptation to business situations and market realities on a continuous basis to optimize the operational efficiency in cost & service parameters.
Experience/Skill Needed
Education/Experience
Engineering / Science graduate with experience in logistics & supply chain. Overall 3-5 yrs experience in Supply chain along with 3-5 yrs in Warehousing & Transportation.
Can be from any industry.
Good knowledge of CFA network/Transportation channels
