Principle Accountabilities:
Ensuring the service delivery performance and customer experience meets the contracted agreements
Ensuring delivery costs are within or better than the delivery costs contracted according to the service level agreement
Scope - Leads the largest and most complex delivery solutions including datacenter design & build, storage & virtualization consolidation, messaging & unified communication solutions & Sharepoint applications. - Builds and sustains effective communications with all stakeholders with the goal of maximising Customer Experience - Typically, has several level delivery management employees assisting with program delivery. - Defines delivery management standards for team and identifies process, efficiency and cost saving opportunities in delivery management processes. - Strong People management capability including managing large multi location/v-team. - Viewed as an expert in delivery management best practices. - Leads delivery management process improvement initiatives - Serves as the Executive Delivery interface for all programmes under his/her responsibility. - Will work with the sales organisation in account planning and demand generation activities
Complexity - Programmes are typically Global, large and extremely complex in nature - Develops and executes assignments with minimal supervision - Is looked to as a leader in all aspects of service delivery - Works with CxO level customers
Knowledge and Skills - Expert organisation and planning skills to oversee the most complex deliverables, including planning, scheduling and holding others accountable. - Ability to lead large virtual cross functional teams across the delivery organisation in the execution of Dell contractual obligations. These teams may consist of up to twenty members from multiple different areas within Dell. - Ability to manage 3rd Party vendors/suppliers/partners in the execution and delivery of Dell contractual obligations. - Proven ability to develop and lead strategic initiatives to drive delivery and cost improvements - Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment - Experienced in leading large complex assignments that consistently achieve or surpass customer expectations. - Advanced interpersonal and relationship skills - Advanced priority setting and delegation skills - Expert analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organisational skills - Advanced verbal and written communication skills - Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to think “outside the box”.
