Inside Business User Sales Specialist Job Profile
Job – Summary
The primary purpose of the Inside Business User Platform(BUP) specialist is to sell the SAP Business user platform solutions . The SAP BUP Sales specialist will be responsible for generating revenues from sales of SAP BUP portfolio which primarily covers the Business Intelligence and Information management areas. Day to day activities might also include supporting the inside sales team and BUP channel partners to close business in the BUP area.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Key Areas of Responsibility
o Fully responsible for achievement of numbers in his/her defined territory and solution area
o Manages all inbound and outbound activities in detail and aligns the resources and technologies effectively to create future growth and success
o Owning the overall Territory coverage Plan and the rolein order to make sure that the SME segment is being approach efficiently to reach revenue and profitability goals
o Responsible for project/campaign for his/her defined territory and solution area
o As necessary, manages sales resources or partners to perform sophisticated or complex transactions
Key Tasks
o Account and Relationship Management (Provide subject matter expertise for a specific application or set of applications)
o Broaden industry & solution coverage
o Evangelize business user solutions to inside sales and partners
o Drive adoption of new vertical/ geographic market segments
Experience & Educational Requirements
Experience
o Minimum 3 years experience in solution sales of business intelligence solutions. and a overall IT sales experience of a minimum of 6 years
o Ability to articulate and position Business Intelligence Solutions Value Proposition to end customers
o Knowledge of Business Intelligence market in India
o Good communication skills
o Exposure to SAP Business Objects solution is preferable though not mandatory
o Knowledge and understanding of Channel dynamics in the Business Intelligence area preferable
o Sound software contracting management knowledge and upgrade processes/scenarios, Industry/Vertical-specific experience as appropriate
Education
o Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
o MBA : Preferable
o Fluent in English and local language
