Role : Business Analyst / Enterprise Architect
Job Responsibilities:
Business Analyst1. Analysis and Solution Definition
· Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client
· Documents client organization' s direction, structure, business processes and requirements
· Plans and conducts requirements workshops, engages clients in interviews, and captures and produces the proposed statement of work
· Responsible for the project in areas of business analysis, including interaction with customers, requirements/ scope management
· Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
· Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements
· Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions
· Technical Recommendation and Testing
· Assists with performance and integration tests of business applications to ensure user requirements have been incorporated and client expectations have been satisfied
· Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
· Works with client personnel to identify required changes
· Communicates needed changes to development team
2. Project Execution
· Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
· Communicates and applies project standards.
· Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.
· Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients.
3. Technical Understanding
· Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
· Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
· Understands how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other.
· Understands technical design specifications.
4. Problem Solving
· Identifies critical issues with ease.
· Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
· Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.
Enterprise Architect * Understand the client business strategy
* Define the IT Systems Architecture to support the business strategy
* Understand the client company's business processes and capable to delve into nitty-gritty technology issues to solve business problems
* Propose solution to meet the business requirements for projects and CR/BRs
* Ensure that the technology objectives of the enterprise are aligned to the business goals
* Understand software design patterns & associated solutions
* Expertise in SOA, software quality, re-usability, New technologies and trends in telecom domain
* Ensure reusability to minimize the CAPEX and OPEX
* Knowledge of eTOM, NGOSS etc.
Qualification: B.E./MBA from Tier 1 institute (IIT/IIM preferrable)
