Senior Manager - Presales - JOB Description
Location – Hyderabad
Job Description:
Position will be the solution-s expert supporting the Marketing, Sales & Pre-sales team. This person will leverage hands-on business experience and industry knowledge, combined with solution familiarity and excellent presentation skills.
This role involves connecting with the right SME in the organization to identify a solution set and plug the solution set in a proposal document. This document should provide competitive edge to the sales system by showcasing our deep understanding of the customer’s pain point and proposing a valid solution set. This person will have to create / support a strong business case by providing a value proposition statement to the sales team.
This person will also be required to carry out Research within relevant markets for a given set of JDA software solutions and identify any new trends/Feature function requirements. This message will have to converted into well defined marketing collaterals and also provide the input document to the Product Management Group.
This person will also be responsible to point out a potential market opportunities based on various data points available on the internet. This will become an input to the BD teams sitting across different Geographies.
Requirements
· Previous experience with financial analysis and metrics management to identify customer’s pain areas or financial improvement areas using JDA solution.
· Must understand end to end supply chain processes and technology
· Professional Services or Sales Consulting experience, ideally in a relevant supply chain solutions context.
· Familiarity with enterprise-class supply chain solutions and IT project management.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to create and deliver formal business presentations / proposals.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to establish good
relationships with key stake holders
· Hands on ability to develop and present solution demonstrations
· Action oriented, “Can do” attitude
· Ability to function effectively in virtual teams that could be across the country or around the world
· Experience with development languages and RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) modeling and programming.
· Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Administration, Business Logistics, etc.) also will be considered. Masters degree strongly preferred.
· 12 + years of experience - MBA preferred, ideally with technical or business undergraduate degree
