    BRANCH LOGISTIC MANAGER -- BASED AT CHENNAI

    Key Responsibilities

    To coordinate all the facets of the Branch Supply Chain
    (Customer Service, Demand Planning, Distribution & Logistics)
    to deliver desired Customer Service Levels at optimal
    distribution cost and ensure Customer Satisfaction.

    Customer Service :-

    Ensure systems are in place for smooth flow of stocks from
    upstream to downstream to ensure no stock outs/loss of sales
    and aging of the material. Ensuring FG stock covers as per
    inventory strategy thereby increasing freshness of products
    to get competitive edge.

    Co-ordinate to achieve agreed promotions plans including
    availability of free give aways & timing of invoicing.

    Lead the interaction with various Modern Trade Accounts
    for daily operations, service level dialogues and future
    plans.

    Demand planning :-

    To guide and lead the Demand Planning team to deliver close
    to accurate demand plans in coordination with the sales and
    Customer Service.

    Provide weekly feedback on Sales trends & new products to HO
    Team.

    Distribution and Logistics :-

    Develop carriers, DC operators and other third-party service
    providers to meet the distribution requirements of the
    region. Negotiate the rates and other business terms with
    them for overall improvement in the cost to serve, sales
    growth and service levels.

    Ensure systems are in place to avoid violation of local
    environment rules & regulations at the DCs and during
    transportation.

    Drive innovations in the field of logistics and warehousing
