Job Code: 15160 Location: CTO for an IT Driven Direct Marketing Solutions Company @ Delhi, India Our client is a leading marketing company in India which has led the way in multi-channel direct marketing solutions with customers that count themselves leaders in their respective industries. The company was founded by marketing, technology, retail and analytics professionals to address a need for high-quality, cost-effective customer management for consumer brands.
Company believes that businesses that sell to a large number of customers needed a fundamentally different approach, by focusing on creating targeted touch points, rather than merely going broad with every campaign.
With knowledge of customer activation program design and execution, our client enables the transition to a channel-agnostic, customer-centric, and most importantly, profitable, direct marketing framework. They need a CTO at Delhi as per JD below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Drive technological roadmap of the company. * Work with multi-disciplinary team of developers and usability/information architects to design solutions for clients. * Participate and contribute in design and architecture discussions. * Be the external facing manager for the development team and communicate with management on a regular basis * Interface with customers, internal teams and partners to facilitate the technical integration in deployment scenarios * Help improve the software development process by introducing new techniques such as extreme programming, agile practices. * Coach, mentor and guide the team to understand, deliver and develop to customer needs and scalable software.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* At least 7 - 12 years of industry experience with at least 6 years in managing large, fast-paced and dynamic engineering teams. * Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment. * Solid leadership skills, experience in building strong engineering teams, strong project-management skills, proven track record for product delivery would add value. * The incumbent should be able to fit in well within an informal startup environment and provide hands-on management. Must be an experienced hands-on manager with an innovative spirit who loves technology and can wear many hats, including development manager, architect, and product manager. * Have that rare mix of intelligence, integrity, domain knowledge, verbal agility, and diplomacy which allows you to rapidly earn the trust of technically-astute teams across the company * Must display a deep understanding of the theory of distributed computing, object oriented analysis and design, and networking protocols. * Must be comfortable with internet and middleware technologies such as PHP, ASP, JAVA including real-time transaction processing for high-availability, high-transaction systems * Awareness of Open Source Technologies and Frameworks * Experience with algorithm development for real-time data access and performance optimization * Follow Reusable Engineering - Constructing common and reusable artifacts. * Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives.
