Our client is the World's Largest Chip Maker and one of the world's leading manufacturers of microprocessors, chips, and other subsets for the computer. The Company holds dominant position in the Semiconductor, Computer Hardware and Software space, with Fabs, R&D Centres, Design Centres, Software Development Centres, and Marketing offices worldwide.

Now we have this opening for a Business Development Manager with the above mentioned client in Chennai.  

Role:  Business Development Manager - Chennai

Location: Chennai

Qualification : Min. Bachelors Degree in Electronics/Science

Experience

    * Min 10 yrs relevant experience
    * Extensive knowledge in business development activities and key account management, good understanding of the channel and OEM business
    * Prefer candidates from IT Products/Consumer Durables background.

 

Mandatory Skill Sets

    * Good analytical skills
    * Key account management / stakeholder management
    * Understanding of business development activities and channel sales

 

Job Description

Responsible for evangelizing and winning the enterprise and client architecture decisions in focused accounts  by offering unified, cohesive solutions based on the company and its fellow travelers products and services.  

Builds relationships with key stakeholders, understand customer policy directions, and provide solutions through the usage of company's products/services to build business capabilities and position the company as the thought leader in solving challenging business problems.  

Engages technical decision makers, industry influencers, and policy makers of existing and potential customers to drive awareness and early adoption of new technologies, platforms and products.  

Creates excitement and demonstrates the value of the new technology in solving customer problems by focusing on one-on-one interaction with key decision makers, one-to-many influencing through presentations, case studies and collaborative project work on first reference cases.  

Collaborates with technical, academic, government, and/or partner audiences to address design challenges.
