Location : Bangalore with frequent travel
Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong client-facing skills at the Executive level
- Strong appreciation of trends and application of IT tools,
techniques and approaches to addressing business issues
- Should have experience in retail banking functions with a global
progressive bank in the following areas:
o Branch Operations, Customer Servicing, Direct Banking Channels
o Exposure to core banking environment
o Back office processes knowledge
o Proven track record of establishing, measuring, monitoring, and
reporting on operational parameters and SLA's
- Ability to own Requirements management phase completely with
exposure to industry-standard tools & techniques in Requirements
management
- Ability to facilitate training on bank processes and procedures
- Providing domain expertise for retail banking business, core
banking expertise would be an added advantage
- Contribution to the complete Software Management life cycle from
Pre-Sales to Post-deployment maintenance
- Lead and participate in industry and customer research
- Assess the impact of industry trends and challenges on customers
and prospects
- Ability to oversee business analysis, process management and
performance measurement
- Ability to interact with business customers to gather requirements
and ability to conceptualize the business requirement into
solutioning
- Participating in consulting engagements
Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a Master's degree preferably in Business Administration
- Overall experience of 8+ years with minimum 4 years experience in
Retail Banking Operations and additional experience of working as a
Domain Consultant/Business Analyst in IT industry within Banking &
Financial Services vertical of a large IT company
- Experience in core banking implementation would be an added
advantage
- Exposure to Retail Banking business and processes
- Good understanding of banking business environment and ability to
keep abreast with the market trends
- Solution mind-set
- Highly organized and very strong analytic skills and detail-
orientation
- Ability to perform and achieve with goals assigned
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills,
along with strong organizational and follow up skills
- Strong experience in managing multiple client/stakeholder
relationships effectively
- Proficient in research and investigation of issues
