Technical Skills:
1. 8-12 years of industry experience in with 5+ years of experience in Telecom Domain as Solution Architect in the areas of OSS, BSS or Enterprise Applications (ERP, CRM, Dealer/Distributor Management Soln, Internet/Intranet etc) 2. Experience in executing at least 2-3 large System Integration / Managed Services Projects in Telecom Industry and leading 1 as a Lead Solution Architect 3. Should have good knowledge of Telco Functional Processes such as : Order to Activate, Order to Bill, Customer Service, Partner Sales, Distribution and Commissioning, Collections, Procure-to-Pay, Lead-to-Cash, etc. 4. Should have good knowledge of Technology components such as: Siebel/Clarify CRM, Oracle OSM, Oracle ASAP, Portal BRM/ Arbor Kenan/ Amdocs Billing Solutions, Oracle Financials /SAP ERP, Internet/Intranet technologies like Sharepoint, etc. 5. Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Security and Deployment Architectures and above average understanding of Solution Scalability, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Techniques. 6. Should have Knowledge of industry standards such as TM Forum NGOSS – eTOM, SID, TAM and enterprise standards such as SOA 7. Sound knowledge of UML, Data Modeling, J2EE, XML, XSD, XSLT, JCA, JMS, Web Services (WSDL) based Application / Process Integration approach
Consulting Skills
1. Good Communications /Presentation capabilities. Ability to hold conversation at CxO level 2. Expertise to identify customer pain points and build solution proposition across IT or operations. Manage customer perception about Wipro's consulting capabilities. 3. Should be seen as a trusted advisor due to industry involvement as well as due to the ability to conceive solutions.
Business Skills
1. Should be able to build Business cases, Translating of ‘ideas’ into Business cases. 2. Should be able to conceive the business solution as a right mix of product, process & functional capabilities across Network and IT to meet customer requirements or solve customer’s pain points. 3. Should have eexperience in building cost-benefit analysis, ROI models, etc 4. Ability to define Telecom business processes, in fixed, mobile and converged environments for Voice, Data and Content services. 5. Ability to define rollout strategies and road map for organizations–short term and long term goals
