Experience : 5-7 years
Role & Responsibilities of the position in brief:
• Understand the various business lines like Equity, FX, Commodity etc and Trade Life Cycle well so as to be able to implement required surveillance solutions
• Map regulatory reporting requirements to data provided by Nomura’s upstream trading systems, identify gaps in data, coordinate and work with upstream teams to provide missing data where needed.
• Monitor daily data sent by upstream systems (through automated and manual checks) for quality, integrity and completeness, and work with teams for upstream systems, users, and IT stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Generate BRD, Functional Specification, Data Flow Diagrams, Scenarios for UAT, Regression Test Cases and Run-Book/User Guides among other deliverables
• Certify the developed solutions as meeting functional requirements and be able to provide traceability for functionality
• Proactively track any changes in upstream systems and ensure that appropriate adjustments are made within the impacted Surveillance systems.
Key Skills & Requirements
• Have proven skills in analysis and tracking of multiple deliverables at the same time
• Strong knowledge of Trade Lifecycle.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Strong documentation skills
• Familiarity with Database concepts, ability to write and run ad-hoc SQL queries.
• UNIX (Basics / scripting) and Advanced EXCEL skills.
