Job Code: 14738 Location: POSITION: TECHNICAL PRE SALES MANAGER – BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (Open Position – 2)
REPORTS TO: Head of Sales
EXPERIENCE: 10 years and beyond
POSITION LOCATION: Bangalore
BROAD OUTLINE:
1. The successful candidate will lead the pre-sales process from a technical perspective
2. Should have a strong understanding of Data Warehousing standards and Business
Intelligence technologies
3. Would be a big plus if he/she has worked in the role of a BI Senior Designer or Technical
Architect for at least 4 years
4. Should understand and have worked through full lifecycle of DW/BI implementations and
have hands on experience on:
a. ETL
b. Datamodelling
c. OLAP/MOLAP/ROLAP techniques
d. Snowflake, Star Schemas
e. Reporting, Dashboarding, Alerts
5. Exposure to the Retail domain is valuable, but not essential
6. Should have strong client facing skills – communication (both written and verbal) should
be outstanding
RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALES CONSULTING
1. Working with the Sales function, and with prospects to determine the best business processes and functionality to present in a demonstration
2. Determining ROI and discovering and quantifying what the specific benefits of using ARC Would be for qualified prospects
3. Preparing and configuring demonstrations of ARC
4. Presenting project implementation plans as part of the sales cycle
5. Conducting workshops with Business and Technical users
6. Preparing integration plans for ARC by detailing out the source systems that would be interfaced with, and any special routines required. Estimating implementation cost ranges and preparing the initial SOW for a prospect
7. Preparation of required Powerpoints for demonstrations
8. Working with the Sales to respond to RFP’s
9. Working with the Sales to generate proposals
CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT MANAGEMENT
1. Participating in the initial discovery meetings as the continuity and design lead for the
Implementation
2. Coordinating the off shore resources who will participate in the implementation
3. Managing customer expectations, attending steering meetings and providing continuity point of contact with prospects as they become clients
EDUCATION: Graduate Degree in Engineering
