Location: Senior Manager – Operations, based in Mumbai
· Establish practices to monitor the production of our products at third party manufacturing units and monitoring them to ensure that the right quality finished products are delivered by the units in time.
· Production planning and scheduling at third party manufacturing units working for the business.
· Technical evaluation of new sourcing unit.
· Establish Best Manufacturing Practices and QA systems at the sourcing locations to ensure consistent delivery of Bunge’s product specifications.
· Help sourcing units to improve on Technical efficiencies, productivity and Quality standards to bring about cost efficiencies for the business.
· Help Product development teams in introduction of new products, skus and new Packing material.
· Train Technical Executives at sourcing locations on Best Manufacturing Practices.
· Regularly evaluate the capacity of each sourcing unit verses sales demand and identify the least cost source and also plan for capacity build up.
Education, qualifications, special training, experience and skills
· B.Sc.(Tech.) – Oil Technology or B.Tech (Chemical)
· Minimum Experience of 10 years in Managing Manufacturing activities
· Well versed and experienced on Food safety Standards and studies, Process/ equipment safety studies.
· Knowledge on analytical and problem solving skills.
· Knowledge on Statistical process control
· Knowledge of various Asset Management and maintenance skills like, Planned Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance
· Knowledge of GMP for processing of oils and Fats.
· Knowledge on foods laws.
