Profile Description - Business Analyst / Sr. Business Analyst

 

In-depth understanding of US Capital Market processes (buy side), products and systems with 5- 15 years experience.

In-depth understanding of Fixed Income securities and Derivatives

Exposure to third party applications in atleast one of this areas

Performance Measurement and Attribution: Eagle Performance, HiPerform or others

Front Office systems like Fiddessa / LatentZero Capstone, Charles River development or other similar products

Derivatives processing and Risk like Calypso, Kondor, Murex and other similar products

Reference data management systems like Golden Source, Eagle PACE or other similar system

Reconciliation products like SSR or SmartStream TLM Recon

Worked on the implementation, configuration, testing and fund conversion program in at-least one of the above areas

Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process Oriented

Requirements elicitation and analysis skills with exposure to preparing software requirement specifications use case modeling etc.

Client/user facing experience

Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL and XML would be a plus.

Knowledge of testing processes with data analysis skills would be a plus

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities - Business Analyst / Sr. Business Analyst

 

Understand user expectations and develop functional requirements and raises clarifications with stakeholders

Give Knowledge Transfer to the development team on functional specifications

Train developers on functional concepts and resolve functional problems faced

Acts as SPOC for business requirements and represents the end user in the development team

Lead and conduct functional testing thereby responsible for certification of product release before user acceptance

Support Capital Market Pre-Sales activity by performing account research and preparation of pre-sales pitch

Contribute to the practice by conducting training, creating white papers and sales collaterals
