We are currently looking for a Demand Planning Manager- Western Region position with the topmost Consumer Goods and Appliances Conglomerate in India. The position is to be based at Mumbai.

    Candidate Profile : MBA prefrably from Premier Institute / NITIE- 2007/ 08 batch with experience in SCM, Demand and Supply planning function in an FMCG / Consumer goods setup. Exposure to multibrand and multiple SKUs is desirable.

    Job Profile:

    a.. Drive regional Demand Plan reliability for all channels and ensure weekly material availability as per the plan.
    b.. Reliable Demand Planning. Back order reduction and regional inventory reduction.
    c.. Ensure reliable bottom up demand plan input by sales team
    d.. Drive continuous improvement in demand plan accuracy
    e.. Drive proactive weekly communication with area-managers to achieve weekly distributorwise sales plan.
    f.. Ensure faster response to the changes in market demand.
    g.. Manage material phase-in / phase-out within the region
    h.. Review and analyze weekly backorders - all channels, all items (except Prof Lum items); reduce backorders
    i.. Drive weekly material availability at LDC (based on forecast and orders) with supply planners including necessary stock movement within region
    j.. Handle (internal/external) customer queries till order is in SAP
