Description of Position
This is a key role and the incumbent will be part of the senior management team. The person will lead and manage the software development team and will be accountable for architecture, development and delivery of one of the key products of the firm. The incumbent will liaise with marketing and content development functions to understand the business requirements and factor these into the product development. The person will lead decision making regarding hardware and software choices to deploy the product.

Person profile
* At least 10 years of relevant experience in Software Product design and development
* Demonstrated experience in understanding a business solution and conceptualizing a smart and scalable web product and in designing and delivering the same
* Experience of working on architecture and design of complex web products, web applications and databases
* Should have led development teams in technology, architecture, design and implementation
* Hands on coding experience
* Knowledge of mobile / handheld platforms
* Excellent communication and team management skills
