POSITION: Business Analysts- AVP/Manager
ORGANIZATION: MNC Banking KPO's F&A COE
LOCATION: NCR,India
Workex for AVP 8 plus years
Workex for Manager-5 plus years
To work within the Finance Strategic Change Management team to help assess
and define the impacts to Global Systems & Processes resulting from changes
in IFRS. Initially the role will focus on assessing available IFRS based
feedback from within the bank and its subsequent interpretation to drive
changes to global systems and processes.
Detailed analysis of IFRS impacts on existing business processes and systems.
Identification of changes and interpretation into process / systems enhancements
or new systems builds.
Preparation of business requirements and project plans etc to support
change requirements.
Working with IT applications development and systems configuration to
support the design and build of enhanced or new systems and processes.
Development of appropriate test plans for above changes.
Customers / Stakeholders:
Summarise process and system impacts, changes and recommendations based
on available IFRS feedback. Communicate findings and recommendations to
project team / stakeholders.
Aligns with and manages stakeholder expectations.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
Develop, agree, and work towards planned project controls and milestones.
Identify issues and lead and/or monitor development of solutions.
Major Challenges (The challenges inherent in the role that require a continual
test of the role holder abilities)
Ability to interpret changes in accounting policy and how this applies
to bank systems. Note that support will be available from the SCM and technical
accounting teams.
Ensure that the solutions and activities will result in the correct and
optimal recommendations for SCM project implementation.
Ensure that the cross functional team members for all activities are aligned,
agree on optimal recommendations and meet targets and goals.
Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications
Technical Skill Requirements:
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analysis skills
In-depth Finance background around ideally gained on previous IFRS projects
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from
the SCM team and management
Understands business and technical architecture
Communication skills - ability to professionally and effectively present
information and respond to questions from all levels of management
Writing skills - ability to write clear unambiguous functional specifications
Educational Requirements
Graduate from top university with good honors degree
CA or other accounting qualification
Some formal business analysis qualification desirable
Personal Skills Requirements
Ability to work with little supervision, proactive, with drive and energy
Attention to detail and desire and ability to see a task through to the
end
Excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and oral)
Proficiency in problem solving
Delivery focused
Ability to meet deadlines
Required Work Experience
Experience of working as a project Business Analyst with Finance systems
in a medium to large organisation
Bank experience (not just financial services)
Experience gained in developing and implementing Finance systems
Proven experience in analysis, problem solving documentation and working
to tight deadlines whilst achieving good quality outputs
