Purpose & Objectives

The Business User Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the product sales for SAP’s Business User Portfolio which includes the Business Intelligence Platform, Enterprise Performance Management Applications, Governance Risk & Compliance Suite and the NetWeaver Platform products. The BU Sales specialist will create & drive sales opportunities by working with Customers, Partners & SAP Account Executive in their assigned territory.

       
- Key Profile and Success Factors

Key Responsibilities

    * BU Solution Sales Specialist is responsible for structuring transactions and driving multiple sales cycles, selling Business Intelligence, Enterprise Performance Management, GRC and Platform products within the SAP installed base as well as Net New customers.
    * Work with SAP Account Executives in the field to drive sales engagements for Business User portfolio with key clients
    * Execute on the Go To Market strategy for SAP Business User Solutions
    * Work with SAP Partner ecosystem for addressing opportunities and driving SAP solution adoption
    * Work with SAP lead generation teams to qualify , nurture and close opportunities

 

Key Experiences / Skills

    * At least 7 years experience in large account software solution sales.
    * Experience of selling enterprise software in Indian market
    * Experience of CxO level engagements for selling value and TCO led discussions.
    * Experience of selling Analytics, Information Management , Enterprise Performance Management solutions will be an added advantage
    * Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, and achieve goals
    * Working knowledge of sales process and procedures
    * Proven relationship-building and consultative sales abilities
    * Demonstrated success working within virtual teams
    * Experience with Enterprise Risk Management, ERP systems auditing and certification for regulations such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act as well as the SAP ERP security and authorization management (Preferred but not a must)
    * Working experience in a finance role or financial sales is advantageous
