Reports to: Supply Chain Head
Location: Bangalore
My client is a diversified technology company with a global presence covering a wide array of market leading products that cover healthcare, highway safety, office products, abrasives and adhesives.
Purpose:
1. Drive Operational improvement at National level for the Distribution Centers
2. Network Optimisation, Cost and Service goal achievement
3. Implement necessary Distribution infrastructure improvement
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service improvement at DC Level
2. Controlling Regional DC Cost
3. Concentrate Business at Regions and closer to customer
4. Upgrade Distribution Infrastructure
5. MIS and Operational tracker
6. Delayer CSA
Additional Expertise:
1. Supply Chain Orientation
2. Customer Services
3. Logistics Management
General preference:
- About 10 yrs experience in distribution, warehouse and customer services
- BE (mandatory), from a reputed institute. MBA would be nice to have.
Others:
- External Contacts – Customers, Vendors
- Internal Contacts – Business, Distribution, Supply Chain
Must haves: Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, ability to take initiative and exhibit ownership, high on ethics and values.
