Location: A leading client of ours at Gurgaon, is seeking candidates for a DGM procurement and supply chain position. This position will provide leadership and direction to the capex commercial function with the objective of building cost effective, quality focused supply chain management system. Coordinate and oversee purchases of inputs and capex items, manage and monitor vendor performance, undertake new initiatives with the objective of ensuring delivery of inputs and capex purchases at optimal cost, right quality, within time through intelligent buying.The role will encompass
- Establishing and implementing a Capex Procurement Strategy and related best practices, leveraging resources in accordance with the procurement strategy and best practices.
- Developing financial and other performance metrics for all Capex procurement.
- Launching procurement activities with a strong emphasis on controlling/ reducing costs in a fast track investment environment.
- To conduct and lead commercial Capex preparations, negotiations, and contractual matters.
