Location: I am working on a position within the FMCG sector which I would like you to post on your portal.
1) Asst Mgr Accounting - Mumbai ( 2 to 5 yrs of exp) (Only FMCG or Pharma Industry)
The position reports to the Business Development Mgr
Role : The position will be part of the Finance Team and closely involved in preparation of Budget, Comparing Budget with Actuals, reporting to the Principal Office on Monthly and annual requirements, to supporting Marketing on Product Costing, be a prime member and compute on the profitability of new products which also includes recommendation of launching a new product, Computation of P&L by Brand by channel and reporting of Monthly MIS to be circulated to the MCM.
He/She will be a hands-on finance professional with strong proven credentials in accounting, finance, systems and processes. He/She will report to Business Development Manager
The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant preferably a rank holder with 2-3 years experience in a large Pharma/FMCG Industry, preferably in a MNC. Experience in SAP would be considered as an advantage and preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Preparation of Annual Operating Plan, product costing and expenses analysis
Support Marketing team (Retail) in evaluating the product profitability and pricing
Preparation of Monthly MIS to be circulated to the MCM and WHQ reporting
Handling COPA module in SAP and proper cost allocations
Product costing in SAP and releasing costs in SAP
The candidate should be finance professional with a hands-on approach and experience in budgeting, costing, forecasting and operational finance. A candidate should preferably have good working experience in SAP.
The candidate should also have the following skills:
Self starter and someone who likes getting his/her hands “dirty”
Strong communication skills
High people orientation – to develop and build relationships.
