    Must Have

    • Thorough knowledge of the Banking & Financial Services domain – has clear
    understanding of one or more of the following: Retail Banking, Mutual Funds,
    Foreign Exchange, Investment Management and Trading, Investment Banking,
    etc.
    • Good grasp of Rational Unified Process (RUP), Agile; have project
    experience in Requirements Gathering and Analysis using the Rational Unified
    Process to develop artifacts viz. Business Process Flows, Context Diagrams,
    Domain Models, Use Case Model, Use Case Specicification, etc.
    • Clear conceptual understanding of the business relevance of Object
    Orientation and Service Orientation
    • Client facing skills - handled at least two onsite BA engagements with
    Clients
    • Managed / lead a team of BAs
    • Mentored a team of BAs

    Desirable

    • Exposure to IT Strategy Road Map assignments
    • Have worked in onsite - offshore BA role
    • Exposure to presale / sales
    • Process flow mapping, Gap analysis experience
    • Has published white paper(s)

    Role

    • Execute large and complex BA engagements in the BFS domain; Provide
    project oversight when junior members are involved
    • Managing Domain Knowledge - Showcase BFS capabilities of the organization
    to Clients and internal stakeholders
    • Strategizing the growth and service offerings of the Business Analyst
    Practice; Creating and sharing best practices / learning across BA practice
    to achieve process maturity
    • Participating in pre-sales effort - proposals, capability presentations
    • Mentor new BAs into the organization
    • Managing a team of Insurance BAs; ensuring a synergy between company goals
    and individual team member’s aspirations
    • Establishing relationship with onsite client management team and educate
    them about BA activities such that they position BA capability appropriately
    with the customers / prospects
