PERSONAL PROFILE :-
Educational Qualifications: – MBA - 2 yrs full time (Marketing / Finance / Strategy from Top tier business school - IIM, SP Jain, FMS - Delhi, XLRI, JBIMS, SIBM, SCMHRD, MDI, IMT, NMIMS, ISB, ). Pass out 2005 or before.
Experience:- No of years (POST MBA) – experience of between 5 - 6 years (POST MBA)
Pre MBA experience will not form the part of total experience. Only post MBA experience will be considered.
Job Description :
The candidate, in addition to assisting the GM – Corporate Strategy, will also need to handle several projects independently with minimum supervision. The job description is as under :
* Formulation of strategies across various sectors of the group.
* To explore, identify and develop new business options either adjacent to the current business or in entirely new areas. This will involve discussions with international players as well.
* The above opportunities could either be vis-à-vis businesses that the group wishes to run or businesses where we are contemplating making an investment.
* To spearhead initiatives undertaken by the Corporate Centre e.g. theme for our annual conference, Corporate communication, HR related initiatives.
* Identification of standardisation of above practices across the group.
a) Additional Requirements –
* Exposure in good pedigreed companies in either marketing, finance or corporate strategy function. However, the person must have a predisposition to and ability in general management.
* Ability to put together high quality presentations
b) Preferred exposure –
For Marketing - Product Management and advertising exposure , project appraisal.
For Finance - Project appraisal, exposure to complex financial transactions such as M&A, Credit Appraisals .
c) Candidates should be well versed with statistical tools like Correlation analysis, regression analysis, Standard deviations, NPV - discounted cash flows.
d) High intelligence and conceptual ability is the most important criteria for selection.
CTC Range - Rs.18.00 - 22.00 lacs per annum (including variable).
