Detailed Job Description:
· Hiring:
Define solutions / process for candidate relationship management post offer release for maximum offer conversions. Provides analysis and reports to the unit mgmt on recruitment progress, statistics offer to joining ratio. Participates in org level and unit level recruitment drives. Advertises open positions internally to improve referrals in order to drive a noise free hiring process for the unit.
· Employee Assimilation:
Assesses the effectiveness of the assimilation process and incorporates revisions to the process as required in order to ensure that the assimilation process in the unit is strengthened.
· Deployment:
Prepares a short, medium and long term skill requirement analysis based on the unit's business plan. Plans to execute the skill plan through the internal and external options available; Continuously monitors the execution of the process; Reviews the entry level deployment, bench management and transfer processes.
· Compensation & Benefits:
Provide inputs and partner with COEs for policy formulation and revisions. Design and customize programs based on the unit strategy. Ensure compliance to the overall C&B principles and guidelines. Provide training to HR team , leadership and line managers on C&B philosophy and practices in order to adhere to guidelines and in certain cases to go back to C&B with suggestions for customizing policies on unit requirements.
· Performance Evaluation:
Customizes corporate performance. Mgmt activities and guidelines to suit unit ESAT, Retention and Development needs and philosophy. Introduces new practices to facilitate creating the desired climate of performance management in unit. Institute methods to measure and improve effectiveness of these activities. Address escalations on ratings / appraisal process in order to ensure fairness in the execution of the process covering all geos of the unit.
· Employee Engagement, Governance and Welfare:
Plan and institutionalize a robust communication model across GEO's. Define the Unit R&R framework . Defines a framework to handle , Develop and deploy fun at work. Deploys engagement processes changes across the Unit as needed in consultation with the manager. Seeks for feedback from stakeholders like employees and managers as part of continuous improvement in order to ensure consistent deployment of engagement activities and engagement level across the unit.
· Employee Governance and Welfare:
Monitors the employee management process within the unit to ensure adherence to various National and state level labor laws. Also monitors compliance with international labor laws. Takes corrective action by dialoguing the delivery/corporate HR in small to medium issues. Flags of high sensitive issues to Unit HR manager or Group HR manager for corrective action.
· BU HR Solutions:
Identifies the key HR areas that needs to be driven across the unit based on the feedback received from ESAT, Climate survey, Attrition data, Audits etc and creates solutions to address the need - IN ORDER to align HR solutions to people needs
· Business Solutions
Assists the Unit HR manager in driving the initiatives as per defined plan.
· Analytics & Reporting:
Guides the AM HR in creating and reviewing the HR solutions dashboard by giving inputs on metrics; reviews the workforce mgmt dashboard to check for health of HR operations; prepares the report on effectiveness of business solutions; looks for trends and draws inferences to influence future direction - in order use reporting an effective tool to steer HR initiatives in the right direction.
