Position Summary
Program management of multiple internal tools aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency
of our teams. Apart from the core task of project planning, schedule development and tracking,
we are looking for
1. Requisite technical experience and understanding to talk with the dev team in their language and
2. the ability understand the business needs and do a good job in expectation management, metrics tracking and reporting to stakeholders at different levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinates all aspects of the business for development and release of technologies, products, features, functions, customer deployments of enterprise software
• Performs risk management to risk management planning, identification, analysis, responses, monitoring and control on a project. Increase probability of positive events.
• Performs project planning to establish an overall project plan, including key milestones, and drives progress to achieve project plan within time and budget constraints. Understand and coordinate sequencing of projects to accomplish progress.
• Aggregates, organizes, and synthesizes program and project information in order to communicate with extended team and management
• Evaluates existing processes and procedures. Makes recommendations and drives process improvement and adoption of best practices (processes, tools, etc) to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
• Manages projects involving department or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of a product/application
• Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters.
• Ability to demonstrate product features to power users and collect feedback and channel it effectively to the dev team.
2. Knowledge & Skills:
B. Tech/MBA from a reputed institute. MBA is must
• Proven ability to understand consumer needs and translate needs into product requirements
• Ability to work with geographically distributed team
• 6 to 9 years of experience in project/program management
• Detail-oriented mind-set with a proven track record of handling multiple tasks and assignments
simultaneously.
• Knowledge of agile development techniques and Microsoft Project preferred.
• Previous experience in web development tools is a plus
• Excellent English spoken, interpersonal skills, and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills is very important
• Previous experience with SDLC, and release management tools & processes
