Location: Title / Position      Senior Specialist – Strategic Marketing    

Location    Bangalore    

Reporting To    Manager – Strategic Marketing

Responsibilities:
    The Senior Specialist – Strategic Marketing will be part of the marketing team and will be responsible for marketing Subex’s product(s) on the Software as a Service (SaaS) / Cloud Computing model.

This person will influence and own the fully integrated strategic marketing plan to help meet product revenue targets, increase the sales pipeline, and build customer awareness and preference for this strategic initiative from Subex.

Key Responsibilities
•    Analyze market trends and research market direction; analyze competitive movement
•    Work closely with Product Management and Strategic Marketing to develop product positioning
•    Design and run lead generation campaigns that support revenue goals (includes direct marketing and events)
•    Establish product messaging in sync with overall company vision and direction
•    Act as spokesperson to customers, prospects, media and analysts
•    Develop and own marketing tools and content around product website, collateral (datasheets, brochures, whitepapers, case studies, presentations), interactive demonstrations and multimedia presentations
•    Actively engage with various web 2.0 forums (blogs, discussions, social networking sites) to promote Subex product
•    Design and deliver sales enablement training to the sales organization
•    Work with sales organization to grow product referral base

Competencies:
    
•    Problem solving attitude; organizing, planning and prioritizing work
•    Creative streak; strong communication and presentation capabilities; comfort on web 2.0 forums
•    Technology savvy; aware of and interest in emerging technologies

Essential Skills & Experience:    
•    Ability to work in an evolving business environment with limited supervision
•    Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
•    Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions; ability to liaise with multi-functional stakeholders effectively

Experience    
•    2-3 years preferably in a software / technology marketing role in a B2B industry
•    Knowledge of / exposure to telecom vertical preferable
•    Knowledge of / exposure to SaaS / Cloud Computing beneficial

Education:    
•    MBA – Marketing (Tier 1 / 2 Business School)
•    BE / BTech (Preferred)
