Position & Responsibilities Overall purpose of the position is to contribute to the financial success of our client through profitable sales of product and assessment services. In order to achieve this, the incumbent should:
* Understand our clients business and offerings * Provide the clients with exceptional service * Make a strong and positive impression on existing and prospective clients, fostering positive relationships at every level * Understand clients’ business challenges and appropriately align the orgn solutions to help achieve their goals * Promote orgn values of professionalism, integrity, ethics and quality in all client communication * Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships
Role: - Business Development Manager (Head North)
Target Industry – Telecom Enterprise Sales/Consulting MNCs
Location: - Delhi NCR
Reports into: - Business Director & Managing Director - India
Reportees: - None
Approximately 90% of the BDM’s time will be taken up with activities that directly result in profitable business growth aligned to our client’s strategic focus. The role requires the BDM to establish the client needs, create a desire to buy, present appropriate solutions, complete the sales process and realize payment.
Approximately 10% of the BDM’s time will be spent developing capabilities in effective sales techniques and processes in order to sustain and grow our clients business, whilst still contributing to the continuous improvement of the orgn. This may be achieved through attendance at specific workshops, on the job coaching or more formal development techniques.
Ideal Candidate An Ideal candidate would have the following characteristics: -
* Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in solutions selling/psychometric assessment sales/training solutions sales/hr consulting solutions sales. * Demonstrated success in relationship building with senior managers in customer organisations * Demonstrated success in “Sales / Business Development” with personal sales targets * MBA or PGDM in HR from a reputed University, Institute, (desirable but not essential)
