Role and Responsibilities • You will be working on a core macroeconomic database and contributing towards providing premium country information • Developing and implementing various data models to produce forecasts for key economic and industry indicators. • Required to support a team focused on data sourcing and collection by developing effective quality-check and progress-monitoring systems. • Leading a team and will be responsible for managing the resources in accordance with the project schedule • Responsible to ensure timely delivery of all project requirements and provide timely and organized updates to all project stakeholders. • You will need to effectively address all issues from both internal and external clients. This would include addressing various client queries and requests
Person Specifications • Graduate/Post graduate from a top-tier educational institution • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in business research with decent exposure to data sourcing, modeling, extrapolation and analysis techniques • Candidates holding a graduate degree in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics from top-tier educational institutions would be considered with lesser work experience as well • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word is a must, with basic knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, etc.) an added advantage • Sound working knowledge of advanced statistical concepts (such as multivariate regression, factor analysis, hypothesis testing, correlation, analysis of variance, etc.) will be an added advantage • Excellent communication skills • Ability to meet challenges head-on and work within strict deadlines. • Ability to lead a team
