Job Code: 10896 Location: We are HR Consultants, working with an executive search firm at Delhi. We are currently looking for a senior Supply Chain Leader with 10 years or more experience in SCM, preferably with Retail Industry background, for a senior position with our well known MNC client. Job location for the role would be Mumbai. Other details are as below:
Objective: Develop and deploy Supply Chain and planning capability in India for the “Client” Account. Attract a talent pool and partners for Supply Chain and planning related work
Responsibilities:
* Hire, retain and grow Supply Chain and Planning expert team for the “Client” account * Manage relationships with category managers/partners/distribution centers and vendors for Supply Chain and Planning - Training, QA and delivery as required * Develop and deploy training and mentoring approach and content for various Supply Chain and Planning activities * Conduct key Supply Chain and Planning trainings when required * Develop re-usable assets such as training content, case database , QA approach and process maps * Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and LWIs (Local Work Instructions) for Supply Chain and Planning processes that can be leveraged for transition of other “Client” categories. * These standardized SOPs and LWIs can also be deployed to new “Client”s as a suite of services * Develop, deploy and monitor standard metrics and SLAs for Supply Chain and Planning processes including financial metrics * Monitor and improve overall quality of service to “Client”s for Supply Chain and Planning work via Continuous improvement program, deployment of required assets, personnel and techniques * Conduct targeted intervention and deployment of resources to improve quality of delivery for specific “Client” situations as needed * Coordinate with Supply Chain and Planning leads on-shore to deploy overall capability for “Client” account
Accountability:
* Overall responsibility for the set-up of Supply Chain and Planning “Client” capability within agreed timelines and budget * Hiring, retention and engagement of core Supply Chain and Planning expert team (working with the HR) including training, career development, succession planning, morale, communication and resolution of any personnel issues * Ownership and maintenance of Supply Chain and Planning assets developed (training content etc.) * Relationship management of Supply Chain and Planning with key “Client” stakeholders, category managers/partners/distribution centers and vendors
Decision making and problem-solving:
The Supply Chain and Planning lead will function at a high level of independence and must be prepared to represent the function and make decisions about the appropriate course of action to take when confronted with specific issues.
