Role : Programme Manager - Manufacturing Operations
Location : Chennai
QUALIFICATIONS:
* B.E graduate with Post graduation in Management from a premier institute with 7- years of overall experience. * Experience in Manufacturing i.e Automotive, FMCG, Pharma, IT, Electronics, all at the factory level , will be ideal.
Responsible for managing multiple projects within a common program, to achieve business goals.
* Manages multiple projects, within given constraints of time, budget and quality.
* Ensures the scope, schedule, and costs are reasonable and achievable.
* Allocates work among subject matter experts and team leads.
* Does periodic reviews to ensure each project or module is on track, and conducts post-project reviews.
* Interacts with business owners to ensure their needs are being met.
* Brings together different functional perspectives from within and outside the project teams.
* Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
* Manages projects through implementation and ensures sustainability.
This role is also accountable for working with other relevant regional, global, business, and departmental stakeholders to develop best practices and standardise processes, tools, and methodology.
Responsibilities include:
* Manages all aspects of project initiation & execution including: scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, change management, and reporting. Manages the identification, resolution and escalation of project risks and issues
* Plans & implements communication & status reporting strategies
* Tracks project timelines and resources against plan
* Provides extensive coordination of communications and engagement with sales, operations and other cross-functional organizations; manage status reporting back to the business, and facilitate executive approvals and signoff where appropriate.
* Identifies issues/process improvement opportunities for workgroups and departments to improve customer experience or productivity, and recommend process or tool related solution concepts to address.
* Leads business stakeholders, process engineers and operational subject matter experts to collectively comprehend and scope a business initiative or problem and develop globally aligned solutions or processes to address. Will possess ability to facilitate discovery sessions and reach consensus among a diverse, cross-functional team, and communicate effectively to a diverse audience.
Leads projects/improvement efforts cross functionally/segment, and partners with global CoC's and process engineering teams to drive and implement improvements / solutions.
