* Manages a logical operational group within a tower for example(Volume Direct Operations within "Offer to Cash") and ensures that key objectives strategic ( breakthrough business impact), leadership, operational and financial objectives of the tower are met and contributes to growing the tower. * Manages a large size team and has ultimate responsibility for the collective performance of the team and for meeting team goals; represents the team to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Directors and above). * Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes. * Focuses on capability building and is responsible for building a high performance team. * Consults with other departments and support groups (e.g., Transformation, Quality, Engagement Teams as well as Transition) at peer and higher levels up to VP to develop solutions and deliver process improvements that add significant value to GBS and HP. * Engages with all internal and external stakeholders, communicating clearly and succinctly with customers at the peer and higher levels ( up to VP / Sr VP levels) on performance of the team and value delivered by the team. Gets the buy in to work on joint initiatives with the Customer / BU teams to deliver business impact * Guides team members to resolve escalated, complex customer and internal issues.
Education and Experience Required
* First level university degree or equivalent; additional management qualification ( MBA) preferred. * Typically 15 + years of experience with experience in leadership roles ( 5 years +) * Experience in Services Operations and having managed large size (200+) operations teams * Experience in different part of the Services life cycle - Operations, Transformation, Quality, Transition * Mix of domain, consulting and services operations experience would be preferred
Knowledge and Skills Required
* Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation) * Domain knowledge and experience in Order Management / Order Fulfillment * Superior teamwork skills. * Advanced project management skills. * Advanced mentoring and coaching skills.
